Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2025  |  NoBull IT Solutions — Johnstown, PA

These Terms of Service govern your use of the NoBull IT Solutions website at nobull-it.com and the IT consulting and repair services provided by NoBull IT Solutions, located at 410 Sell Street, Johnstown, Pennsylvania 15905. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting us for service, submitting a service request form, or allowing our technicians to perform work on your equipment, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all services including but not limited to computer repair, virus removal, data recovery, network setup, managed IT services, and on-site technical support.

2. Services

NoBull IT Solutions provides IT consulting, computer repair, and technology support services to residential and business clients in Johnstown, PA and surrounding communities throughout Cambria and Somerset counties.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion. We also reserve the right to discontinue a service if conditions are discovered that make safe or successful completion impossible or impractical, and will notify you promptly if this occurs.

Our service descriptions on this website are accurate to the best of our knowledge but are subject to change. Specific terms for your engagement will be communicated at the time of service.

3. Estimates & Authorization

Before performing any billable work, we will provide you with a clear estimate of the scope and cost. Work will not begin until you provide verbal or written authorization.

First 15 minutes are always free. If we resolve your issue in 15 minutes or less — by phone, remote session, or on-site — there is no charge. No authorization is required for this initial diagnostic period.

If additional issues are discovered during service that require additional work or cost beyond the original estimate, we will notify you and obtain your authorization before proceeding.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Hardware part prices may vary due to availability and supplier pricing changes.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless a prior billing arrangement has been established (typically for managed IT contract clients billed monthly).

We accept cash, check, major credit cards, PayPal, and invoice. Payment terms for invoiced clients are net 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For parts and hardware ordered on your behalf, a deposit equal to the parts cost may be required before ordering. Parts that have been ordered and received are non-refundable unless defective.

Accounts past due by more than 30 days may be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee and suspension of service until the balance is resolved.

5. Service Warranties & Guarantees

We stand behind our work. Our service guarantees are as follows:

  • 30-Day Service Guarantee: All consulting and software work is warranted for 30 days from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within 30 days and is directly related to work we performed, we will resolve it at no additional charge.
  • 90-Day Hardware Repair Guarantee: All hardware repairs are warranted for 90 days. If a component we repaired or replaced fails within 90 days due to our workmanship or the replacement part, we will remedy it at no charge.
  • 60-Minute Response Guarantee: We will respond to all support requests within 60 minutes during business hours, or the service call is on us.
  • Same-Day On-Site Guarantee: For calls received before 3PM, we guarantee same-day on-site service. If we cannot fulfill this guarantee, the service call is free.
  • Virus Re-infection Guarantee: Our virus and malware removal package includes a 30-day guarantee against re-infection by the same threat, provided security recommendations are followed.

Warranties are voided by: unauthorized modification of repaired equipment, physical damage after service, software changes that conflict with our work, or failure to follow security or maintenance recommendations provided at time of service.

These warranties do not cover hardware failures unrelated to our work, damage caused by power surges or environmental factors, or issues arising from equipment age or pre-existing conditions unrelated to the service performed.

6. Limitation of Liability

Data Backup: You are responsible for maintaining current backups of all data on any device presented for service. While we take every precaution to protect your data during service, NoBull IT Solutions is not liable for data loss that occurs during repair, hardware failure, or unforeseen circumstances.

Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for issues arising from pre-existing hardware or software conditions that were not caused by our service, or for problems that arise from equipment that is beyond its useful life.

Maximum Liability: Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Data Recovery: Data recovery success cannot be guaranteed and depends entirely on the physical condition of the storage media. If we cannot recover your data, you will not be charged for the recovery attempt.

7. Your Data & Equipment

Our technicians will only access data, files, or applications necessary to perform the requested service. We do not copy, retain, or share your personal data or business data beyond what is necessary for service delivery.

Devices left at our shop for more than 30 days after completion of service and without response to our contact attempts will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of unclaimed equipment after proper notice.

We recommend that you remove or secure any sensitive personal data (banking apps, passwords saved in browsers, etc.) before handing a device to any technician, including ours.

8. Scheduling & Cancellations

For scheduled on-site appointments, please provide at least 2 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations (less than 2 hours notice) or no-shows for scheduled house calls may result in a $35 trip fee.

Emergency service requests are accepted at any time and are subject to emergency service rates as listed on our pricing page.

9. Website Use

The content on nobull-it.com is provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of website content. Pricing, services, and availability are subject to change.

You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, to send spam or unsolicited communications, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or to scrape or harvest data from our site.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Cambria County, Pennsylvania.

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before pursuing formal action. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
